Danger: Boots in bad state they bruise legs badly

My 7yr old son's day was ruined by the ice rink boots that were faulty, they bruised him badly on the legs and left him badly swollen as well.

I called and spoke to Dave who claimed to be the owner of the place, his explanation was that the boots were probably an incorrect size or were not tied properly. It was neither the case with my son, but I wanted to find out if his staff do explain this to customers or parents collecting boots.

He completely lost his temper, screamed at me and eventually dropped the phone. This was before I suggested proper explanation process, signage around the place reminding people to check boots etc.

I'm completely dissapointed in Dave's attitude, I needed an explanation about why what happened to my son happened and also what he will be putting in place to ensure it doesnt happen again.

Shame on you Dave for your attitude, I will be doing further consultations to ensure no other 7 yr old goes through what my son experienced there.
