HARASSMENT - I'VE HAD ENOUGH!

I had 2 Mobile contracts with Mobile U, which I cancelled in 2007 subsequently. In the beginning of last year I started getting letters and emails from you saying that you are collecting money for Mobile U which I owed money to for the contracts. The 1st letter stated that for 1 contract I owed more than a thousand rand and the 2nd one about 300. After numerous calls and complaints to Mobile U they confirmed that I paid and that this matter was closed.

1st of all according to the Prescription Act 68 of 1969. Any debt except for a judgment for which 3 years lapses loses prescription and cannot be claimed from the consumer. It's been 6 years now since I cancelled my contract with Mobile U and fully paid my subscription and I still get letters like these from you. I understand that you bought a debtors book from Mobile U and are trying to resurrect their "debtors" but I'm not in agreement with this as I do not owe them anything. I'm not at all impressed which the kind of letters that I get from you as per below.

I do not owe them anything and will not be paying the R240.00 that you're claiming from you. In doing so I will be nullifying the prescription that has passed.
