Harrassed on Paid Account

I am writing this report because I am completely at my wits end with this company. I received an sms this morning regarding a Woolworths account that I had settled with Creditworx/Snyman last year.
They advised me that the account is no longer with them and even provided me with a settlement letter a year ago, I then asked where the account is and they said Creditworx. I called Creditworx who confirmed this and they gave me the balance and a bank acc on email. I made payment (I have proof of payment from my online banking) and then called Creditworx who confirmed receipt of payment and removed the trace alert on my report
This morning Im being told that Im being listed with XDS credit bureau (whom I've never heard of) because of this account and I am instructed to call 0115604118. I spend the whole day calling without getting through. I try all available numbers on the internet but no help.
This is so stressful for me because I plan to purchase property next month and if MBD has indeed made a false listing, I am most likely to get declined. I tried the Credit Ombuds and I got no response there as well. I am so frustrated right now and I think I will need some serious legal guidanc
