Does anyone know what they are doing at VVM?

Just about every day I receive ether a call or a SMS from VVM, demanding payment on my up to date account. They phone and then they have this long spiel about verifying you ID number and that the call is recorded etc etc. After wasting your time with this they demand that you bring your account up to date or further action will be taken. Well hello my account is up to date. Even though I tell them that I have made my payments. The next day I receive the same call again, this time from someone even cheekier. Today I replied to a SMS and only to find out that their books do not reflect any of my payments made since March 2012, is this my fault? My payments are made direct to ECDC. Does anyone at ECDC give them a record of payments? I just hope that they know I will not be paying for all their calls sms's and collection fees. I spoke to someone by the name of Dolly today and have sent her proof of payment from May last year as that is as far back as my on line bank statement goes. Lets hope this will be the end of this nonsense.
