THEY SAY I HAVEN'T PAID BUT I HAVE PAID EVERY MNTH

I owedMBD Legal Collections R1708.66, someone came to my office from there company to sort out mnthly payments, the reason I stopped payin was because nobody could tell me what was goin in my account and takin off debit orders when I said I can't! I was very happy to speak to someone face to face instead call centre, where agents didn't know what the was going on! I HAVE been paying EVERY month without fail, I should almost be finished BUT now I get a letter from them claiming I've never paid?? I can provide proof but I'm sick and tired of there incompetence!! Who can I talk to about this?? Not calling call centre again!! You checks payments etc?? What is going on there? I want a statement saying exactly how much I owe!!
