Retrenchment Assist

I had a matter at work that I thought was procedurally flawed and through the internet identified Retrenchment Assist for help. At the appointed time, I met at their offices with a gentlemen called Harry who after listening and viewing my evidence, expressed the capacity to handle the situation on my behalf for a deposit of R500.00. Some time later, I received a call from Renusha Chanderdhev who advised me that she will now be attending to my matter. To date I have only appeared at the responsible Bargaining Council (without representation), to attend a Conciliation session that was postponed for Arbitration. I then received an invoice for R15 000.00 from Retrenchment Assist for "work done to date". Taken aback by the cost, while informing them of my payment made, I then requested an itemised invoice and the deliverables that resulted from the so-called work done. The itemization includes the following:-
Attending, drafting and sending "Welcome pack" to client - R900.00 (are new clients not usually welcome?)
Attending to telephonic introduction and consultation with client - R300.00 (what happened to Harry?);
A host of other cost items that are too daft to mention!
