Continuous sms received

I am absolutely furious with this company. i keep getting sms's regarding my account that has been handed over. i keep phoning them to inform them that this account does not belong to me & that my number must be removed form their system. i keep getting told when i phone in that my number has been removed from the system. But a few days later i'll get the same sms again. i just phoned the callcentre now again & the lady told me the same thing again, she has now removed my number from their system. When asked how does my number miraculaously reappear on their system after they confirmed its been removed, she cant answer that. i was told i must just phone them again!!! I'm running up my bill everytime to phone them. This is beyond ridiculous & i dont know what more i need to do! Is there no law against this harrassment?
