Today (a Saturday) I received a call from VVM reminding me to pay my account this month? I receive an SMS almost every day (last week of the month) regarding my Joburg City account, with phrases like "please pay as agreed", I didn't agree to pay anything, I didn't need to be notified as I pay my account every month, so please stop spamming me with these pointless SMS's and phone calls. I have been trying to get my Joburg account rectified for the last 5 years, on numerous occasions I have visited the Roodepoort Civic, but it is obvious that the system doesn't work? I am stuck in a situation that the Municipality fail to rectify my account and they then get VVM to follow up? I have called and emailed VVM (through their website) on a number of occasions, I don't receive any reply's to my emails and their consultants listen to my whole story and then promise to call me back, but they never do. Tired of being treated like a criminal due to the failure of the system, if VVM can give me a name of anyone at the municipality who is capable of correcting an account I would really appreciate it? I also haven't received an account since Feb 2012?
