Woolworths Account was handed over to MBD Attorneys.

Further to the above matter and several attempts to resolve this matter. I have emailed a complaint querying the account to the following & attached proof of payment:

Goldfields Mall Woolworths in Welkom assisted in this matter on the 20th of February 2013. They confirmed that the account was with MBD. They phoned MBD from the Welkom store and was given a final balance of R3, 888.80 which was paid on the 20th of February 2013.

Now I'm still receiving threats from MBD demanding money, all of a sudden there is still a balance of plus minus R550.00. Where does that amount come from (Confused)? I received a call from MBD during last week the consultant said that I should have requested a settlement amount not a balance the day at the woolworths store in Welkom. I would not have paid an odd amount if my intentions were not to settle this account.
