My contract!!!

I keep on receiving sms's from JM Attorney regarding money I owe to Credit U. I've called them and requested a statement. The same day the statement was faxed to me (well done), I seeked legal advise and was informed to request a copy of the signed contract between me and Credit U. I've emailed this request (as this was said to me by the call centre) to [Email Removed] This was already two weeks ago. A week ago I've send a follow up email, but still no reply, no sms, no phone call. How difficult can it be to get a copy of this agreement? Are they not suppose to have a copy of this when they buy over the bad debit book from a company???
