This morning I bought a law ebook costing R420 from a website called Little White Bakkie. Usually these types of services have a very sophisticated and reliable technical support system, where you are able to log a call and a technical assistant will call you to walk through the downloading problems experienced and even offer alternative methods of downloading the material. This website provides no warning of downloading limitations prior to purchase and offers no refunds for those who don't have the wireless capabilities they require. The web has no telephone number so they took over 3 hours to be contacted about my problem. after I had to send another email to a different address on the payment confirmation. Do note that at some point one wonders whether the whole thing is a because the telephone number listed as a contact is not operative. I eventually got a reply to advise that they would not gave me a refund and that I should try alternative means of connecting to the internet. I do not see that as a problem as I have done all they have already advised and their eBook was still unable to be delivered.
