Medirite Pharmacies
Horizon Medirite not open because Pharmacist late!

Medirite pharmacies have a standard opening time on Mondays at 09h00. I asked permission to leave work at approximately 09h45 in order to go and fetch my prescription medication that I urgently needed to have on the day. I arrived at Checkers Horizon View at 10h00, only to see that the Medirite was not yet open. I went and asked the available staff that were around, whom none of which could give me a reason why it was still closed. Eventually one of the Medirite staff members said that the pharmacist (the only one who has authority to open the pharmacy) was late and that he said that he would be in at 10h00. I waited until 10h20 - which was when I had to go back to work, and the pharmacy was still not open. I went to talk to the branch manager inside the Checkers who abruptly told me that she can't do anything about it. I left without my prescription medication, and now I have to work in extra time at work because of waiting so long. I also spoke to an elderly lady while I was waiting, who also needed her urgent medication, who informed me that this specific Medirite had given her the wrong medication before! I have had enough of incompetence in this country.
