Truly Unbelievable Stay

Tenahead Mountain Lodge must be one of the best kept secrets South Africa. The mountain setting is truly beautiful and the lodge fits perfectly into it surroundings.

We were given a homely welcome upon arrival and Shauna and Nolan, the two managers, were always on-hand to help out with anything we needed. The comfy rooms and lovely fireplaces only added to the great feel of the lodge. The food was out of this world and Chef Josh, together with Shauna, must be complemented on serving great meals every time!

Isolated from all the hustle and bustle, there is no cellphone signal, which is great, but there is a wifi hotspot and a landline if you need to communicate with the outside world. Road access is long and a bit bumpy, bit the lodge is worth every minute of the long drive.

We truly loved every moment of our stay and cannot wait to head back there!
