I am so disappointed with the service I get from my medical aid. If you call in and spend R100 airtime hen you get answers but if you email then you do not get service. A person does not always have airtime to call and email is the fastest cheapest way to make contact but every time I end up having to call in anyway. I added a new secondary GP for me and my son but they ended up taking my first GP choice off. My son needs his grommets taken out urgently and we sent through the Referral request from my GP. Then I got an email saying that it cant be approved because its not the right dr. Eventually I called in because that's what I end up doing and the consultant told me that the previous consultant took my GP off and that's why the request cant be approved cause that's not my GP anymore. Then they said they will listen to he call and correct it. Guess what.. still nothing. What a waste of my time really. All I need is for the authorization to be approved so I can get the grommets out and my 3 year old ears which is bothering him tremendously.
