Valentine's Day

I booked a table @ R580 for our Valentine's dinner. Upon arrival we received the complimentary welcome drink & were advised to have a stroll around (this I think was to buy time, because the venue - tent, was not ready yet). At about 19:30 we were finally seated. Immediately we were asked what we want to order to eat & I informed the gentleman that we would like to have something to drink first before we order our food if that was OK. We waited 20 min for someone to take our drinks order. Our main course arrived at 21:20 - almost 2.5 hrs after we arrived at the venue, which was well done fillet (we've ordered medium rare) - everyone around us were looking around for service & some tables have just left without paying their drinks. I asked 3 separate waiters to please bring our desert & the bill. The bill arrived within minutes, without any desert & I informed the waiter that I won't pay until I have had desert. 20 Min later we still didn't have desert & I then informed a staff member that I am telling her I'm leaving without paying for the wine & water (R160) as I have not had desert & EXTREMELY poor service for almost 3 hours. WORST experience ever!!!
