Charge for procedure not performed: 4 months late

I was admitted to the A&E on 22 October 2012. Upon admission to the hospital ward, my husband paid the account for the A&E side. Upon submission of the claim to our medical aid, I noticed that we were incorrectly charged for an ECG procedure. Dr Steynberg decided (in his arrogant wisdom) to not follow my gynaecologist's advice to get the physician on call involved, so no ECG was performed. I had a drip and pain medication administered to me, but nothing else was done! I was never unconscious or in a coma to not know what happened there. I first raised the issue with them on the 12th of November. I had to complete a form with my banking details and was told that the money would be in my account by the end of the next week. On the 16th of January, I returned to the A&E and spoke to Lauren, who promptly called me back later the same day to tell me that Given would phone me once the file had been retrieved out of archives. On the 29th of January I once again returned to the A&E and spoke to both Lauren & Given, waited for the file to arrive, only to be met with confusion about missing content in the file. It is now more than 2 weeks later again and no communication once again!!!
