Discovery not keeping their word: be very aware!

I recently phoned the call centre to double check if my plan covers the six weeks followup visits for me and my baby as well as my pap smear. The consultant let me hold the line to confirm with a claims authorising agent and then confirmed that I do have cover and to use my existing authorisation nr I had when I went for my c-section. When I went to the peaditrician, their office phoned Discovery to confirm my cover, they were then all of a suddenly informed that I do not have cover. I phoned Discovery afterwards, they pulled the recording of the conversation I had with the agent and confirmed that she misinformed me and promised to try and rectify the situation. When I missed a call back and did not hear anything again for 3 days I phoned again. I was promised a call back. When I heard nothing for 2 days, I sent an email. No call back up until date, just an email rejecting my claim! What is the use phoning to confirm cover if the information they supply you with is not valid? I can not believe that they do not intend to keep their word! Very disappointed! Be very careful!
