Breakfast - ensures the best start to the day?!

My boyfriend and I are frequent travellers and mostly use [URL Removed] for bookings. We were in the area for an event and decided to book with this hotel. We paid R750 (no breakfast, which was not great, but acceptable) compared to casino complexes, with king sized beds and huge breakfasts for LESS!

Accommodation was acceptable. We awoke and decided to have breakfast at an additional R300.

The breakfast staff are disinterested, rude and ill-informed. Some food stuffs were definitely not fresh (with gnats walking around on plates!), no cream for coffee (apparently) and no spoons to be found anywhere. After looking all over, my boyfriend asked for a spoon for his cereal. After taking approx. 10-15mins the waitron came back and my boyfriend asked whether spoons aren't supposed to be on the table? Waitron proceeded to plonk down two spoons, walk away and with back turned mutter "yes" in reply! How disgustingly rude! About 20mins later a man started putting spoons on other tables (only one other table had patrons!).

We travel often and this has been the most disgusting experience ever. The reception staff (a mere 2m from breakfast station) were such a pleasure!

Utterly disappointed!!
