Fairy Knowe Hotel

We bought a breakfree holiday and had to pay r900 for the breakfast and dinners. We arrived a day early and paid R450 extra but seeing state of main hotel we upgraded for R100 extra for the 3 nights. The room was dirty, mouldy, stank, the bedding was filthy, the window sills were covered in insects. On ordering dinner the salad was warm, the calamari tasted like chicken, the pasta was brown. The breakfast sossaes were raw and at night there was no air on or even a fan (call themselves 3stars)! We got bitten by bedbugs and Mosquitos. The towels had toothpaste marks on it and was covered in hair and dirt. The carpets made our feet black. On telling the GP, Andre Swart that we are not happy and would like to checkout and have our remaining two nights refunded he said no refund. I called the owner and his words to me were "we bought new bedding so I don't know where you come with that". We have taken pictures to show him however he wasnt interested. With the two remaing and paid for R450 plus R100 upgrade for the next two nights we lost R1100. We are so unhappy with the "it's not our problem" attitude that we will ensure to away people from going there! Bad service, no refund!!!
