Excuse after excuse

In 2009 we had a claim and it was submitted to Discovery they then decided not to pay this account as they apparantly paid something about 4 years earlier they were not supposed to pay. No in 2013 I called in on 14 August and got authrisation to get my teeth done in theatre as this is an option on my medical aid policy documents. They did not pay the dentist. I was informed they will pay as long as it is not cosmetic. excuse one: you did not get pre authorisation. Excuse 2: the dates on the different bills is incorrect Excuse 3: the doctor used the in chair codes and not theatre. all this was corrected and still they refuse to pay this account.
I got a call from the dentist who now informs me the medical aid states I am a grown woman and could have done this in the chair. Another excuse. Discovery pays what they want to and not what they have to. i am tired of dealing with the call centre and getting details fo rthe ombudsman is a mission.
