Late delivery

Why do I have to use pharmacy direct when they are delayed with the delivery of medication. I will be running out of medicine on Sunday and I called them today and they said they would deliver on Monday but I havnt received a confirmatory SMS and they where late last month. Are there no procedures in place to ensure timely delivery because this waiting game is really unacceptable.
