I faxed a receipt through in August 2012 for consultation fees paid by me but never got reimbursed. After that I found out that I am pregnant and saw the doctor monthly. All patients pay cash and must claim it back. I faxed all the receipts as soon as I got them, but never got reimbursed. In the meantime I have phoned and emailed GEMS several times to ask what is happening. The first phone call, I was told that he can see everything is fine, I will be reimbursed the next Friday when they do pay outs. Which never happened. I phoned 2 months after that again, just to hear that there is 1 number missing on my account number and that is why they never paid me. I sent all the documents through again. It is a month later and I still have not received anything. When I phoned on Thursday, 17 October, I was told that they can not do anything for me as the receipts were received too late. Unless I have proof that it was faxed through early enough, I will loose all that money.
