Delay in feedback hospital bill

My daughter was rushed to hospital on the referral of our doctor the closest hospital was milnerton medi clinic. at reception my wife was informed that they require a deposit fee of R25000 rand. we had to rise that large amount of cash in order for her to get the care she required. as we do not have medical aid we rushed to the bank and paid that amount to the hospital. my daughter was admitted Friday afternoon and released Saturday luckily her illness was not as serious as we thought. she had a lumber punch and tests and stayed overnight. no other serious or costly procedures had to be done. we were told the balance of that large sum would be paid back to us. we can see no possible way that a lumber punch and tests and a night in hospital can cost R25000 rand. we were told at reception once the account is finalised the balance would be paid. we have sent numerous mails on there website and have not received any feedback or any refund as of yet
