Won't pay for Original Medication

I am furious with Discovery!! I am on the Fully Comprehensive Plan and pay premiums in the region on R45 000 per year for myself and my son!!! I am currently in my above threshold benefit where Discovery will only cover medication to the value of 75% and the medication MUST BE GENERIC (or the cheaper version). They WILL NOT cover for OVER THE COUNTER MEDICATION WITH A SCRIPT!!! First of all, generic medication does not work for every one. We are all different and react differently to this even though they say it has the same compounds. What garbage!! They refuse to pay R240 for "over the counter' medication for which I received a script after consultation with my Doctor. I must pay for my medication ON TOP OF MY PREMIUMS. FED UP with different answers I get from the health info email address. Management will not answer and ALLOW me to collect this medication WITH MY SCRIPT and pay for it. Disgusted. Total rip off with their rules and regulations they make up to benefit themselves. I will be looking at another medical aid toward the end of this year. This is plain daylight as far as I am concerned!!
