Wonderful day at Le Sel

I have visited the Cradle twice in the past month for lunch over the weekend. The first was on a sunny Saturday in late August. This was my first time her since it was closed the previous time during the change of ownership. We had a magnificent lunch accompanied by the most incredible view.
Today I visited it for the second time and was thrilled to hear that they had had a wedding the previous day as well as one as we were there. The restaurant was packed and despite the fact that it was exceptionally chilly for this time in September, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The canvas and plastic flaps a were closed, yet you were still able to enjoy the view of the Magalies mountains through the clear plastic. There were fires roaring inside and a very jolly atmosphere. The chef/owner was out and about making conversation and there were even children at most of the tables. Our food (prawn and pea risotto, lamb curry and desert table) was lovely. The food is amazing, well worth the price and wonderfully plated.
Lastly, what a kind and nifty waitress.
It really was a great experience.
