I was previously a member of Momemtum health from 2009 till mid 2012. I rejoined this year. I saw my gynae in June (Durban) due to heavy bleeding and pain and was told for the first time that I have a fibroid. I saw another gynae in August and was told it definately is a fibroid and there might be a polyp. I was scheduled for a diagnostic D&C on the 12th. I have been waiting for authorisation since. I was promised feedback by Saksha and never got a response. I was eventually told that my gynae needs to wrie a motivating letter and now after being jerked around for 2.5 weeks I get told that due to the bleeding being a pre existing condition even though I never received treatment and was told it is not detrimental to my health I do not get authorisation and MY MEMBERSHIP is going to be revoked. I am disgusted that Saksha said to me that I should have stated that I had heavy periods in my application. Why not tell them about every single ache and pain. I did disclose that I have Connective Tissue Disease and heavy bleeding is a symptom. According to Saksha, Momentum does not know the symptoms even though my premium is higher to cover this, and I should have told them every single symp
