Critchley Hackle - NOT AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE!!

We enjoyed this last weekend in Dullstroom with family and friends to celebrate my dad's 65th birthday. I am 23 weeks pregnant and so my husband and I decided that we would enjoy an additional night in Dullstroom and decided to treat ourselves by staying at Critchley Hackles (apparently rated 4 stars). To our dismay it was a great disappointment. I decided to have a bath as they have big corner baths only to realise that our unit had run out of hot water! We phoned reception only to be informed that the units have very small geysers and we could go next door to have a shower? Reception also sent an individual to check on us that did not even knock on the door but just tried to walk in! Thank heavens the door was locked! Secondly the hygiene in the bathroom was despicable as the toilet hosted disgusting remains of a prior guest! When we first arrived we decided to make a fire but after it burnt out a second attempt was denied as we were only supplied with 4 matches? And this is what one pays approximately R1, 700 a night for?? I suggest the management of this hotel does some serious jacking up of not just their staff but the suites as well! Definitely not relaxing at all!
