LACK OF INTEREST

We had to submit our mum for medical treatment on two separate occasions over the past two months to the dreaded Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg General Hospital. The service and feedback from an allegedly great doctor is appalling to say the least. On one occasion, we tried to make an appointment to see him only to be ignored by his arrogant secretary. My sister in-law has tried to contact him by phone, left several messages, yet no call returned? And we call this doctor professional?
Doctor / patient relationship is critical, and I'm sorry but if he does not have the time to spend a minute or two with patient or family then he's either over worked or simply does not care? I support the latter! If he is overworked, then he needs to control that and make alternate plans.By ignoring patients and family members is only doing his reputation (the little he has) damage. I think people forget these days, we are the customer, we pay for the service (or lack there-of) and expect the service to up there with the best in the world? I am sorry to say this is just not happening Dr. Tilley!
