Sick patient turned away

I visited the Randburg Medicross today at about 3 pm, and was told by the receptionist that I could not see a doctor as I did not have an appointment and the walk in doctor was only available after 5 pm. Is this what the medical profession has become, a profit making venture, unable to address the needs of sick patients and practice due care! Very disappointed! So much for Netcare values and vision. I have been visiting Medicross for about 10 years and am very happy with my doctor, it seems the administration service is questionable. Very upset! In fact a while ago, I did not have an appointment, was forced to go to emergency and was advised that my case wasn't serious enough, so I had to wait, in agony on a outpatient bed, had an incorrect diagnoses and had to be back even worse days later.
