Without Medical Cover and it isn't my fault

My previous medical aid fund, that was administered by Discovery for many years, was merged with the main Discovery fund recently. Suddenly, on Thursday afternoon before the long weekend, I am told that I must either pay some money or be left without cover. I was too late to go to the bank, so for the past 6 days I am without cover. They claim I provided a bank number that is incorrect, yet for the past few years they have conducted many transactions into my correct account. Yesterday somebody from Discovery called me. It was the most unpleasant call ever. I was threatened and made to believe it is entirely my fault and Discovery did nothing wrong, yet they were unable to fix their own internal admin and finally I'm still without cover. While in theory I could just walk to the bank and make a payment, I am deeply concerned that there are other more serious errors or omissions in my (or my colleagues') accounts that could have worse impacts.

Seriously, Discovery is bullying me into making a payment for their mistakes.
