On Vaal!!!

One week before our check in date we were told that we need to make payment in full, up fornt before we arrive. When I offered a credit card number we were told they do not have a credit card machine and when I offered to pay half by EFT and the rest before we check in I was told this is not possible because we dont like cash on the premises. They knew fully well that if we saw the place they wouldnt get their money because we would have left immediately. This is their MO. We left immediately after being shown the honeymoon suite we had booked.

When we arrived we were told to park in the street. When asked if this is where the car was supposed to stay for the night we were told that it is the only parking there is. There is an informal settlement just up the road and no security.
The "suite" stank of damp, the linen was filthy and the entire place was run down & dirty. We were told that the place was a little damaged when the river flooded (over a year ago) and that they were waiting to get it fixed. It should be bulldozed to the ground from neglect. This place is truly not what it looks like in the pictures. PLEASE do not be fooled. We are still waiting for our refund!
