Poor and pathetic Service

Took our 2 year old son to the casualty department at Flora yesterday 9th June at 14h30 after his diarrhoea had not stopped in 4 days. On arrival we were told that there would be a 1 hour wait as they were busy, there were 4 patients waiting ahead of us. After 1 hour 30 min and other patients being admitted before us we enquired as to what the delay was, reception just said it was chaos and emergency cases were admitted first. Other people came in carrying toddlers too, after 20 minutes they were admitted! After 2 hours a doctor came out and said all the beds were full and they were working as quickly as possible to get through the patients. Another 15 minutes passed and another not very sickly patient was called through, my wife then went to reception to ask why she went in first, on investigation it was revealed that they thought we had been seen to! Pathetic service. After 2 hours 45 minutes we were finally called through, Dr Richards was rude and arrogant and didn't even listen to what we had to say, just said its a bug and could last up to 3 weeks, gave us a script and that was it. Said it wasn't diarrhoea but loose stools, I don't know, but when it runs down your leg? Explain!
