Is its still worth it to be on Discovery?

For 9 years I'm on Eltroxin and Tertroxin for Hypothyroidism and for 9 years I did not have any problem form the medical aid to pay these meds, now all of a sudden they decided that they only going to pay R40.00 for the PMB condition wich is on their list of chronic illness and which I have registered as a PMB. I was on different medication, but none of them was sufficient, thats why my Dr put me back on above mentioned meds.

To my knowledge this condition is a PMB and therefore they have to settle in full. I have phoned Discovery, but the lady that helped me can't explain to me why they change their ruling. Why am I paying nearly R6000 per month and still struggle. According to the web that I have read they say that Discovery has made a profit of R762m for the last six months ending Dec. It is scandalous that they make such a huge profit, but their benefits are pathetic to say the least.

We always have issues with Discovery, seems to me they looking for ways not to pay, to me it seems that they are just looking to their own pocket regardless the needs of their members. I think they should go back to the members and try to listen to their needs. Your benefits and sevice stinks
