I am a Prokard member. I did an online booking for me and my family in Dec 2012 and got a quote but was unable to print the confirmation. When we got to the hotel we were given a different amount which was very high. The manager on duty said she was going to investigate and come back to us and she never did. We had booked for 27 Dec to 05 Jan 2013 and were told to pay upfront while the matter was being investigated. On 2 Jan we decided to check out as we were not happy about the standard of the hotel. We were told that we'd be refunded. And as there was still no feedback from central reservation we were told that no invoice would be issued until that is sorted out. We paid more than R12, 000 and NEVER got an invoice, our Prokard discount as well as well as the vouchers we were entitled to as Prokard members. In January I called the hotel, sent emails and was just ignored. I called the call centre on different occasions and spoke to 3 people who promised to resolve the matter within 24hrs and nothing happened till today.
I'm very disappointed with the service received from Prokard and its staff. Unprofessional bunch of people at their call centre!!!
