Optical Benefits

I am extremely disappointed that Bankmed has decided that the current /- R 1100 optical benefit for contact lenses will be over two years instead of 1 year. As is my savings account is exhausted and now I have pay out of my pocket for the lenses. I am questioning why I pay for medical aid?
