I'm very unhappy with Discovery's double standards on their process to have banking details changed. I needed to change my banking details in order to receive money owed to me by Discovery. As per the form received from Discovery I needed to attach a bank statement, a copy of my ID as well as send the bank details form to Discovery which I've done. This morning I received an sms stating that I need to send this information again. When I called Discovery I was told that I need to attach three month's bank statements and that it has to be a recent bank statement. Nowhere on the form supplied to me by discovery does it state that the bank statement has to be a three month statement or that it has to be a recent bank statement. I've sent through all the information needed as stated on the bank change form but Discovery will not process this until they receive a recent three month bank statement. I'm now in the process of cancelling my Discovery medical aid with my HR department and moving onto a new medical aid.
