I have been trying to get my medical aid card from January 2013 with no success. At first I was promised that my card will be delivered to me via courier. When I called discovery in February to find our why my card was not delivered I was told they are experiencing problems with the courier company their using, so there will mail the cards to me. I was not happy but I waited patienlty for the cards. On the 30th of April called discovery to find out about my cards. I spoke to Audrey who also didnt know the reason why my card is still not delivered, she suggested I go and collect the card from one of the rigional offices closest to me. She arranged the cards to be re-printed for me. I asked her to confirm the time they close their offices in Sandton office and she said 18h00. I used my petrol to go there and collect my cards. When I got there it was 16:50 on Tuesday the 30th of April 2013. The receptionist accompanied me to their collection office and when we got there we found no one. The office was closed. How much money and time must I spent to get a mere card? Can delivering a card be this difficult? Someone please help
