Rusks broken tastless and old

We had family and friends over I bought plain sliced and muesli rusks It was awefull The rusks wer broken tasted like nothing and old I was so embarrassed. I will rather buy rusks tpacked in plastic that I can see what it lookes like It is so sad because I have been buying Ouma for years but not again Please could you try sought this out.
