Incorrect advertising

Checkers advertise assorted Oumas rusks @ R19, 99. In store same ad for "assorted Oumas rusks" are displayed. At the till rusks are scanned at R26.99, when queried we are told that the special only applies to sliced Oumas rusks. When the supervisor is shown the special pamplet that advertises for assorted oumas rusks, she shows me the picture is of a box of sliced rusks only. When I told her that the ad says assorted rusks, that falls on deaf ignorant ears. Surely the ad should have read "assorted sliced rusks " to be more specific. So is advertising done by photos of products or by the wording? If it done by photos why don't they just put the photo and price of the product instead of the additional wording to mislead consumers. Sick and tired of this branch, there is always goods advertised on special but never in stock, or only a few items on the shelf. Took 15 minutes to get a refund and only after I went and looked for the manager to pass the credit, because the checkers employee couldnt find him, I found him in1 minute, at least he was apologetic.
