Poor support service

Electronics and household app.

I recently purchased an 8 series Samsung smart tv but have had issues connecting it to the Internet. After searching the Internet I discovered a number of other customers have experienced the same issue. The tv connects to the wifi router but cannot connect to the Internet although all my other devices are able to connect to the Internet. After trying to resolve the issue on my own I eventually called the support centre. After stepping through the setup steps I indicated I had already completed I was beginning to get the sense that the consultant had no clue. The final straw was delivered when after 15 mins I was asked if I had inserted my sim card! I then asked if somebody else could help. I was then put onto another consultant who took me through the same steps once again following which he indicated I would need to contact my Internet service provider. This made no sense as my router is functioning and I have Internet access on all my other devices. I was then told that I "do not understand" but left the call wondering who really did not understand!
