Once you've paid no support

I cannot believe that apple store do not support their phones if you upgrade at a cell company. I upgraded to the iPhone 5 from the 4s and now my drifta does not work with this phone. Go into istore eastgate and they tell me that I need to pay them R 200 to even look to see if they can fix the problem which is software related. I've had the phone for 2 weeks and this is the service they provide. It's disgusting in my eyes. If its a software problem they should sort it out.
