A year or two ago I bought a LED globe with a claimed life of 30 000 hours. At the rate I use it, it should last at least eighty years (10 min to 1 hour/day occasionally). Now this lamp has stopped working.
There are cheap incandescent types available in a package of 4 for about R25, but I thought that it would be cheaper to buy this lamp at R99, and then never have replace it in my lifetime.
Unfortunately I did not keep the receipt, so Game (where I bought it), could not replace it.
I complained on the Ellies website slightly more than a week ago, but have not yet received any reply.
