Dear Samsung, I have previously been in contact with you on the below matter (Approximately 2 years ago) relating to my Samsung side by side fridge.

Since Samsung so kindly assisted in repairing my side by side refrigerator, I have repaired the fault approximately 5 times over (the fan motor), using the same repair agents sent to me, Watsons Appliances. I call it the fan motor of death.

It seems the same part, every single time, goes wrong (fan motor of death), which has to be replaced. It fact, repairing the fridge every six months or so has become habit, like servicing my vehicle.

What seems strange though is that while my vehicle is far more complex than my Samsung Fridge, it is rather the fridge that requires far more "servicing".

I did raise a concern that same series of fridges (make and model), was recalled in UK and fitted with an update gizmo-thingy from the future, to correct the apparent inherent defect (attached warranty for ease of reference). However it does not come as a surprise to me that the same was not done in South Africa since we are a legitimate dumping ground of grey product that every OEM finds attractive!
