Voltex tries to cripple BEE businesses

I run an accounting business and assisted a black very enthusiatic black man to start his own business. As faith would have it he started getting very good orders and enevitable ran into a short term cashflow problem. Voltex were very aggressive in their debtors collection and instituted legal action within a very short period of time. Not having any defence he did not defend the action. He could have played legal games, but did the ethical thing. Voltex got a judgement resulting in all other credit accounts at other supplier also being withdrawn. This crippled the business and caused him to close down the business until he can find money. He subsequently paid R25, 000 of the original R17, 000 debt, but still they insist on the full legel fees at absobent rate and also interest at abnormal high rates. This is unethecal and bad business practice!!
