Bad Attitude/no response

Electronics and household app.

On Saturday morning I received a message alert to upgrade my iPad. I duly followed the process and was aked to prompt a pass code which I do not have, subsequently my iPad was Disabled. I got through to Technical support (after in excess of 40 minutes waiting) to be told by the assistant that there was a problem with Apple and this upgrade and that at this stage there was nothing she could do to assist me. As my iPad had been disable I should bring my iPad into Jet Park Johannesburg, I live in Cape Town and they would do a full restore for me which I would have to PAY FOR!!!
I requested a Supervisor or manager, none of which were on duty on weekends according to Piyani, the assistant. I insisted that a Supervisor or Manager call me back which I was told would take approx. 20 mins. No further calls from technical in SA until Monday 11.04 by Jarret Govender.
I did manage to get the problem sorted by calling technical support in the UK.
Apple SA your service is the worst! At least Telcom and Eskom do call back even if they cannot sort your problem out!
