My LG flatscreen went in for repairs to CT Electronics - LG's agent in Cape Town. A deposit was paid and the balance for repairs was paid on 10 June 2013. POP was forwarded to CT Electronics and a follow-up call made. I was informed that repairs would take 2-3 working days depending on parts availability. That agent closed its doors and in response to a post at HP Monica contacted me from LG. She assured me if I collected my TV from their errant agent she would arrange its collection from me and have it repaired at no additional cost. It turns out that the new repairer could not collect so I had to again lugg it to them. They have now had it well over a month. The machine is still not repaired despite LGs empty promises - I am over R1000 out of pocket te boot. Now, the latest on my umteenth follow up - the part cannot be sourced so they will replace the TV BUT I will have to pay in the difference! I still have no TV after more than three months AND I am now being extorted! I want a full refund for repairs paid for in good faith. I want no further dealings with LG and will recommend all and sundry rather to opt for Samsung! posted on behalf of Miss Zena
