I purchased a star sound preamp ssa eq 5000 on the 03/03/2013
The product only worked for 2 months on the 05/05/13 I took the preamp to osmans in hospital rd point, durban
Spoke to a guy named samid how told me that they have a 14 day policy for cash refunds and was told by the manager aswell so I ask if they could give me a new 1 instead of sending it for repairs which they refused to do so knowing that its been working for only a month and a half - and it was a gift to me all I asked for it to be replaced
I went to pick up the preamp on 20/07/2013 reason for picking it up late there was a death in the family
So that was the last thing on my mind... so on the 20/07/2013 when I picked up the preamp. Samid told me that if the preamp still gives me problem I will have to bring it in so they will send for repairs and it will carry on until my 6months guarantee is up and they will not be able to assist me thereafter.
Its not my problem that they sell faulty products and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has this problem
I'm a very unhappy customer and will not buy any electronic items after the experience I had with osmans
