Wrong diagnose made on Samsung Phone

Electronics and household app.

I always been supporter of Samsung. Having DVD equipment, Video/Sounds systems and cellular phones. Whenever in the past I had a problem it was solved within hours... up until one month ago. On the 17/07/2012 I upgraded to a new Samsung s3. Now 11 months later the battery died. I tried to recharge but after 24 hours still nothing happened. I then take it back to the agent: Southcom Cellular, Shop G30, Gallaria Shopping centre, Amanzimtoti. They took the phone and send it to Samsung for evaluation. One week later I visit the shop and I was told NO CLAIM Liquid Damage/unrepairable. Job no 8916659 I no sit with a phone worth nothing. I then took the phone to a small cellphone repairer, who had one look at it, recharge the battery with an backup charger and walla - the phone work. My concern is - how could a small outlet fix the problem and a big outlet condem the problem as Liquid Damage.
I contacted Samsung headoffice RN 7111760829 and spoke to a certain Donald as well sending an more detailed email to SAMSUNG. I also spoke to the OFFICIAL repairer in Umlanga who investigate the original querie. NO HELP other than... insisting on LIQUED DAMAGE.
