I bought 3 flat screen tv's towards the end of 2008. Now in my fourth year, two tvs broke down and I took them in for repairs at Advanced Electronics, Sandton. Both have faulty LCD's. I am informed that replacing the LCD's will cost more than two new tv's. I have other tv's which I bought way before these samsungs. These tv' usage is hardly 5000 hours which compares badly with my other old tvs. Why was I not told upfront that buying Samsung tv, one will have to buy a new tv every 5000 hours? What an inferior type of brand?
