Unisa can't get study material out on time

I registered for a Geography course (among others) through Unisa this semester. When I received my study material, I did not receive any tutorial letters for this course. I didn't panic, as I knew sometimes Unisa runs out of certain course material and I thought I would receive my material soon. In the meantime, I decided to download the Geography tutorial letter 101 so that I could get an idea of the course. I noticed that the first assignment was one that required the use of an aireal map which I had not received. The assignment is due on 11 March. This past week, still not having recieved any material, I decided to visit a friend who is a matric Geography teacher, thinking he might have the aireal map. No such luck. I then looked online on MyUnisa, no luck there either. Google also couldn't help me! I'm now sitting with a problem - Unisa lecturers aren't interested if you don't receive tutorial matter. How must I complete this assignment if I cannot get hold of what I need to complete it? I'm left with having to guess the answers to the MCQs and hope for the best. I know there's been a Post Office strike, and I'm not sure who's to blame - the post office or Unisa!
